PRO'S CORNER
The spring season will soon be approaching and I am sure that everyone is more than eager to start making efforts to lower all of those handicaps. The golf shop staff is more than anxious to meet your needs and welcome you into the fast approaching 2008 golf season.
Once again, with the new year upon us, it is the continuing goal of the KMGA staff to give its membership the absolute highest level of customer service possible. Hopefully the snow is done, and with its melting, we will open soon and we will look forward to seeing more of you.
PICK UP THE PACE
Ways to play without delay on the tee:
*Play a realistic set of tees for your ability
*Take two or three clubs with you to the tee.
*Watch errant shots carefully. Line up ball position so that it will be easier to find.
Through The Green:
*Be committed to keeping pace with the group in front of you.
*Walk quickly, it’s great exercise.
*Keep time looking for lost balls to an absolute minimum.
*When using carts, drop off one player and proceed to the next ball.
On The Green
*Player whose ball is nearest the pin should tend the flagstick.
*Look over putt while others are putting.
*Be ready to putt when it’s your turn.
*The first player to finish should be ready to replace the flagstick.
Have fun but lets all play in a timely manner, it makes it fun for everyone!!!
SCHOOL TEAMS
As you know, Milham Park and Eastern Hills is the home of Hackett, Loy Norrix, Parchment, and Comstock golf teams. You will notice the boys practicing and playing. They will be utilizing the driving ranges and the golf courses Mondays through Fridays. Please make arrangements to check calendars posted on the website and in the clubhouse so there is minimal inconvenience. The support of Junior golf shown by the KMGA and its membership over the years is much appreciated by the school and is something we should all be proud of.

MILHAM RANGE OPEN
The Driving Range is open at Milham Park. Come over and get some pre-season practice in! The range will be on the mats for the first month or so.
Milham hours are: Monday - Saturday 9-6, Sunday 12-5. When the course opens, hours will be 8-dark.

Milham Park currently has two Demo Days scheduled for 2008:
Thursday, May 15th
Friday, June 20th
Both events are scheduled from 3:00 - 7:00 at the Milham Park Driving Range. Companies scheduled to attend are Callaway, Taylor Made, Mizuno, Ping and Cleveland, Nike, MacGregor, Titleist, with more expected.
