SIGN UP FOR THE SPRING FESTIVAL Saturday & Sunday, April 29^th & 30^th at Eastern Hills & Milham Park!  This 2-day 2-person team event is a popular beginning to our tournament season.  Saturday’s round at Eastern Hills will consist of 9 holes best ball and 9 holes scramble.  Teams are broken into flights based on the first round score and then compete at Milham Park on Sunday by playing 9 holes Pinehurst and 9 holes alternate shot.  Entry fee is $15 for members and $45 for non-members (includes greens fees).  Entries are available online at www.kalamazoogolf.org or by calling the pro shop at Milham Park to sign up.  344-7639

HANG OUT AT MILHAM!
Coffee is only 25 cents during April at Milham Park.  That's right, just a quarter Monday-Friday before 11:00am.  Stop by and meet your buddies.  If it is raining, come over anyway and talk some golf.  If you are worried about your stocks, bring your laptop because the clubhouse is wireless.  The coffee is brewing at Milham Park!

FIND A GAME
We are keeping a clipboard at Milham and Eastern on "who's looking for a game."  Let the staff know by e-mail, phone or drop-in when you are available to play.  We will take the information and share it with others who are looking.  Let's not use the excuse "I have no one to play with" as an excuse not to golf.

The ACTIVE HANDICAP POSTING SEASON for Michigan started April 1^st.  The first revision date will be April 12^th.  Be sure to post all of your winter scores before then.  If you haven’t activated your handicap yet, stop by the pro shop at Milham to get set up.  Handicap service is free for course members.  Non-members pay $15 for handicap service.

 

PGA PRO-AMS – Have you ever wanted to play with one of our professionals at a nice country club for a reasonable price?  Jim, Dean, Jeff and Paul are all members of the Western Chapter of the PGA of Michigan, and play in many Monday Pro-Ams.  All you need is a USGA handicap to be eligible to play.  This year's schedule is:

May 1 - Kalamazoo CC
May 8 - Point O'Woods
May 15 - Wuskowhan Players Club
May 22 - CC of Jackson
June 12 - Battle Creek CC
June 19 - Walnut Hills
July 10 - The Moors
July 17 - Ravines GC
July 24 - Eagle Eye GC
July 31 - Gull Lake CC
August 21 - Stonehedge GC (4-Man Scratch)
September 21 - Thousand Oaks GC (Callaway Pro-Scratch)

Cost for each event is expected to be $75.00 (except Stonehedge and Thousand Oaks) and includes your golf with cart, a sit down lunch and a chance to win prizes and gift certificates.  Contact your favorite pro to sign up.

DEMO DAYS
Milham Park will be hosting demo days at the driving range on Tuesday's and Thursday's the month of May.

~Juniors are age 17 & under, Seniors are age 55 & over.

#Restricted time memberships are valid before 3:00pm on weekdays and after 3:00pm weekends and holiday.  Restricted time members teeing off during restricted times will be charged 50% of the regular greens fee rate.  Single course memberships are also available.

PUNCH CARDS
Save 10%, 20%, 25% on your golf and power cart this year with punch cards!  Each punch card has ten (10) 9-hole punches on it with 1 FREE punch for net savings.

COMPETITION CAMPS RETURN TO EASTERN HILLS
Eastern Hills and PGA Professional Paul Simonds will once again host Competition Camps. Originally started by Bill Yates, these camps are designed for the junior golfer age 12 - 17 who wants to take his or her game to the next level for competitive golf. Campers will have a chance to fine-tune their chipping, putting, bunker play, driving and iron play. Session dates are as follows:
