SIGN UP FOR THE SPRING FESTIVAL
Sign up for the KMGA Spring Festival to be held Saturday and Sunday April 29 & 30 at Eastern and Milham.  Find a partner and sign up at Milham or Eastern.  The first round is at Eastern and you will play a best-ball on the front and Scramble on the back.  The next day at Milham will be a Pinehurst on the front and the deciding alternate shot on the back.  Teams are flighted after the first round and the cost is $30.00 per team.  Deadline for entry is April 26^th.  Click here for a printable entry blank.

HANDICAP CHANGE
We are in the process of changing our handicap provider for the 2006 season.  Though the process will be similar to last year, you will be able to access your scores and post new ones through the Internet.  Everything should be up and running by Tuesday, April 18^th.

COUPLES DROP-IN FRIDAYS
Beginning Friday May 5^th we will be promoting couples golf at Milham Park on every Friday throughout the summer.  We will be providing great rates for couple’s golf all through the day and will work with some area restaurants to provide discounts on food and drink.  More information in the May 1^st newsletter.

EASTERN HILLS
No official word from the City Commission on the sale of Eastern Hills.  The golf course was put out to bid during the month of March and no bids were returned at the minimum level.  The Commission is still discussing options but nothing is imminent.  As we receive more information, we will pass it along in due order.  The Kalamazoo Gazette published a brief article about Eastern Hills in the Friday, April 14 edition.  An online link to the article is:  http://www.mlive.com/search/index.ssf?/base/news-17/1145028176176800.xml?kzgazette?NEKP&coll=7
