VEGAS ANYONE?
WHAT'S AHEAD FOR 2007?
We feel it is important
to inform our customers as early as possible on our plans for the 2007
season. Over the winter you will have many choices on where to play your
golf next summer and we want to make sure you understand the following:
1)
Eastern Hills is not going to be sold in the near
future and will continue to be a vital component of the KMGA golf program.
2)
We are actively seeking a beer/wine license for
both Milham and Eastern Hills. There is no guarantee that we will have them
by the 2007 season but we will be working hard to get it done.
3)
We will have leagues at Milham Park on Tuesday and
Thursday evenings on one nine only. We will not have any morning leagues at
Milham Park. Open play on both nines on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at
Milham Park. Eastern Hills will continue with its current league
program and we have never had leagues at Red Arrow.
4)
We will have tee times available during the week
from noon until seven p.m. at Milham Park. We split the tee sheet and
allocate half the times for walkups and half the tee times for reservations.
5)
We are going back to an aggressive tournament and
event schedule and will also bring back the Kalamazoo County Amateur to
Milham and Eastern.
6)
We have a membership promotion that currently is
in progress which allows you to play free for the rest of the fall and all
of next year. Existing members will have their special purchase program
beginning October 1.
7)
We will continue with our punch card program which
can save you up to 25% on green fees and golf carts.
8)
Plans are being developed to have a year-round
teaching, club repair, and club fitting center at Milham Park. Details to
follow.
9)
The golf courses and their maintenance levels will
remain priority one. Our brand has always been quality, well-maintained
golf courses at a fair price. We will continue this legacy and look for
ways to elevate conditions even more.
