BOARD OF GOVERNORS ELECTION RESULTS:

Elections to the KMGA Board of Governors took place during the Annual Meeting on Tuesday evening, November 16^th, 2004, with the following results:

Orlin Loen, 82 votes, incumbent, City Resident

Teresa Snook, 67 votes, incumbent, non-City resident

William E. Felt, 57 votes, non-City resident

James Sunwhan Chung, 42 votes, City resident

Mark Scott (Jake), 41 votes, City resident

Matthew Warren, 23 votes, City resident

Andy Fletcher, 6 votes, non-City resident

There were 114 total votes, including two write-ins.

Orlin Loen, Teresa Snook received the highest number of votes and, as incumbents, were re-elected.  James Sunwhan Chung was elected to fill the City resident vacancy of Chuck Wallace.  Although William E. Felt received more votes, he is a non-City resident.  The KMGA Constitution requires that there must be a majority of City residents on the Board of Governors.

            Assuming approvals by the City Commission, the Board of Governors would be made up as follows:

Elected terms ending December 31, 2005 – Dave Ballingall (City), Vic Callahan (non-City), Quincy Franklin (City)

Elected terms ending December 31, 2006 – Tom Vanderberg (non-City), Rick Margelis (non-City), Chuck Clinard (City)

Elected terms ending December 31, 2007 – Orlin Loen (City), Teresa Snook (non-City), James Sunwhan Chung (City)

            Appointed term ending December 31, 2005 – Lee Stuart (City)

            Appointed term ending December 31, 2006 – Noel Ocen (City)

            City Manager – Pat DiGiovanni

            Management Services Director – Mark Stuhldreher

            Parks and Recreation Director – Frances Jewell

2005 MEMBERSHIPS ON SALE:

#Time restricted memberships are available to any age.  They are valid weekdays before 3:00pm, and weekends and holiday after 3:00pm.

Single course memberships are available also.

PRO SHOP HOURS:
            Milham Park Pro Shop will be open daily from 9:00am to 6:00pm through the end of the year.  Closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.  Closing at 1:00pm on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.  During January and February: closed on Sundays and Mondays.  Open 9:00am to 6:00pm Tuesday – Saturday.

            Milham Park and Eastern Hills golf courses will remain open as long as the weather is good.  Both driving ranges are closed for the season.
