UPCOMING EVENTS:
            BEAT THE PRO – Milham Park will host a Beat The Pro event this Saturday, May 22^nd.  Anyone playing 18 holes for the day is eligible to participate.  Entry fee will be $5.00 and anyone whose net score beats the pro’s (Jeff Rohrstaff) gross score will win a prize.  Make your tee time at Milham by calling 344-7211.

            COUPLES EVENT – Eastern Hills will host a couples event this Sunday, May 23^rd starting at 1:00pm.  It will be a 9 Hole Net Best Ball event.  Call Eastern at 385-8175 to sign up or view the entry blank on our website at www.kalamazoogolf.org.

            NIKE MOJO VAN DEMO DAY – Milham will host a Nike Mojo Van Demo Day this Wednesday, May 26^th from 10:00 to 2:00 at the driving range.  Test the latest equipment from Nike and see the psychedelic Mojo Van promoting the new Nike Mojo golf ball.

            BOB MILLAR – Eastern and Milham will host the BOB MILLAR Best Ball Scramble on Saturday and Sunday, June 5^th and 6^th.  This 2-day event, flighted after the first round, is one of the most popular tournaments of the season.  Entry fee is $15.00 for members and $55.00 for non-members.

            MEMBER MATCH PLAY – The 4^th annual Member Match Play entry deadline is Sunday, June 6^th.  Only KMGA members age 18 and over are eligible.  The entry fee is $15.00.  In this event, participants schedule their own matches with their opponent.  Winners advance to the next round.  There are up to 16 participants in each flight for a total of 4 matches to win your flight.  All flights will be played as gross score except the last flight which will be net.  There will also be a women’s net flight.

            MEMBER – MEMBER BEST BALL MATCH PLAY – The 1^st annual Member-Member Best Ball Match Play entry deadline will be Sunday, June 6^th.  Open to KMGA members age 18 and over, this event will feature Ryder-Cup style team best ball matches.  Similar to our Member Match Play event, participants will schedule their own matches throughout the summer.  Flighting and format will be based on the number of entries received.  We’d like to have enough entries to have a gross flight and a net flight, so find your partner and sign up soon!

SUMMER TEE TIMES will begin at Milham Park on Tuesday, June 1^st.  Weekday tee times may be reserved between 12:00noon and 7:00pm by calling the Milham Park tee time line at 344-7211 after 10:00am one day in advance.  Weekend tee times at both Milham Park and Eastern Hills are available between 6:30am and 5:00pm by calling 344-7211 or 385-8175 after 10:00am three days in advance.  (Call Wednesday for Saturday times and call Thursday for Sunday times)

The MICHIGAN PGA PLATINUM 24 HOUR GOLF PASS is a great way to play many courses at up to a 50% discount.  Some of the participating courses are:  Milham Park, Eastern Hills, Thornapple Creek, Pine View, Arcadia Bluffs, Blackberry Patch, Treetops, Shanty Creek and Crystal Mountain, to name a few.  There are currently 61 courses participating and the list is growing every week.  The pass is available for only $99.00.  Passholders have access to a special website as well as a 1-800 number where they can book tee times at their favorite course.  The only requirement is the tee time must be booked within 24 hours of playing.  Certain courses only allow a few tee times per day and a power cart is usually required.
