Junior Golf Association Donation Page

updated: 3-21-08

The Junior Golf Association was established in 1987 with the purpose of providing quality golf experiences for area juniors at affordable rates. Early fundraisers by Jim Roschek and John Block laid the foundation for the JGA Scholarship Fund. In recent years, the JGA has supported all tournaments, instruction, administrative costs and Scholarship donations solely on entry fees. In order to expand programs, offer more Scholarships and keep entry fees low, it’s time to ask for your help.

- Scholarships
The endowed Junior Golf Fund was established within the Kalamazoo Community Foundation in 1989. Since then, over $43,000 has been awarded as scholarships to JGA participants. Gifts to this fund are not only tax deductible, but also may qualify for a state credit of up to 50% under the Michigan Community Foundation Tax Credit. Checks may be made payable to the Kalamazoo Community Foundation with "Junior Golf Fund" written on the memo line. If you prefer, you may make a gift online at www.kalfound.org. You may also consider making a gift of stock.
