Junior Golf League Page Email update 8-17-07
Junior Leaguers-
Please turn in scores for any make-up rounds
as soon as possible. All make-up rounds must be submitted before your
leagues scheduled luncheon day.
Updated scores, handicaps and points are
available online at
http://www.kalamazoogolf.org/Junior/2007Data/Leagues/Jr_Leagues.htm.
The team scoreboards at Grand Prairie have been re-printed with new team
totals. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 teams in JL2 and the top
2 teams in JL3. Trophies will be awarded for the top 5 individuals in
JL4. Tie-breaking procedure will be explained at the luncheon if
necessary. Team winners need not be present to receive their trophies.
Players must be present at the luncheon to receive gift packs and/or
door prizes.
In the event of a
rain-out, the luncheon and awards will take place as scheduled.
Please call the course if it looks like heavy rain
or lightning. League will play in a light rain if there is no
lightning.
League Luncheon Information:
Monday, August 20:
JL1 will shotgun start at 8:45. JL2
will shotgun at 11:45. (Shotgun means all players start at the same
time but on different holes.) All players should arrive by 8:30/11:30
to get checked in and receive their scorecards. Since the league is so
large, we will sign up and play with 5 players per group. Players are
allowed to play a make-up round ahead of time and just come to the
luncheon. Luncheon times are scheduled for 11:00 (JL1) and 2:00 (JL2).
Awards and prizes will be distributed during the luncheon.
Wednesday, August 22:
JL3 will shotgun start at 11:00.
Luncheon time is scheduled for 1:00. Awards and prizes will be
distributed during the luncheon.
Thursday, August 23:
JL4 will shotgun start at 11:00.
Luncheon time is scheduled for 1:00. Awards and prizes will be
distributed during the luncheon.
